Hi, I’m Katherine Wheeler — founder of Dapple Up and Dapple Up Pup Healthy Shampoos.
Dapple Up all began in the barn, trying to find a gentle, plant-based formula that could truly support the skin and coat health of top Thoroughbreds. These horses demand the very best, and I wanted something clean, effective, and trustworthy enough to use on top equine athletes. When the formula proved itself on some of the most sensitive and high-performing horses, I knew we had something special.
What I didn’t expect was what came next — dog owners started using Dapple Up on their pups and immediately saw the same beautiful results: calmer skin, softer coats, and that healthy, natural shine. Their enthusiasm is what inspired Dapple Up Pup.
Today, what started with elite Thoroughbreds has grown into a family-owned, family-run brand dedicated to keeping every animal healthy, happy, and glowing. And we’re grateful that the same formula that helped top horses is now helping pups everywhere — one bath at a time.
